Step 3: Draw the Shapes of the Cups that you Want to Keep in the Bean Bag

Here, place the opening of the mug on the foam sheet. Then mark its shape using a pen. Keep some space between the drawings because these marks are used to create cup holders. So, eventually, distribute them on the bean bag.
Step 4: Dig a Hole in the Foam Sheet
Use a paper cutter and remove the foam portion inside the drawn lines. Here, we take the sheet four inches in height. But do not dig the whole 4 inches. Allow 1-inch space and dig only 3 inches. Then your warm cups do not touch the sofa, bed, or car seat directly. Further, the one-inch layer will act as an insulator.
You can use these holes directly to place your cups. If not, you can fix separate cupholders inside these holes. It is your choice. But it is a better choice to set plastic cupholders, as it will increase the lifespan of your bean bag cup holder and protect the bean bag from unexpected spills.

Step 5: Make Cover for this Bean Bag Cup Holder
Generally, people use rich-looking material to add a glamorous look to their interiors. Therefore, select velvet or rich-looking Fabric that matches your car seat or sofa color.
To create a cover, Draw a Shape that Looks like the Below Image on the Fabric.
A = Top surface of bean bag holder
C = Bottom surface of bean bag
B,D,E,F = Side surfaces
The cover’s length, width, and height should be 15 x 10 x 4 inches. It would help if you allowed free spaces from the drawn edges for sewing purposes.
Sew all Edges of the Bean Bag Beside the “F” Side Portion
Here it would help if you sewed the backsides of the fabrics.
Sew the Zipper to the F Portion of the Fabric.
The zipper will help you to remove the bean bag cover easily. So, when it gets dirty, you can easily unzip the cover and wash it using a washing machine.
Then, inside out the bean bag cover.
Insert the Memory Foam Structure into the Bean Bag Cover.
The surface that you dig holes in should be placed on side A of the bean bag cover.
Then Join the Zipper of the “F” Fabric Portion into the Other Pieces and Enclose the Cover.
Cut a Hole and Fix Cupholders in the Dug Areas.
Now the areas that dug are covered with the Fabric. So, you can carefully cut relevant shapes and fixed cupholders there.
When you are cutting shapes, allow some spaces in the Fabric. Then cupholders can retain the Fabric by compressing the edges.
